The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.2 k. D/ O' S0 p0 {9 o( @$ y. H
) F* }. ~1 t8 P8 c6 r; LThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
7 z2 }- L8 L5 A; }9 M, t5 j• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 4 W8 [5 m- a4 \6 N7 @9 [
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors : M4 ]3 L* P: ?" b
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
, K# s3 X& K! F- K/ }+ o, \• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services* Z& Q2 c; \+ B4 p
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 9 _# @: D; W) o y
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes* }; \$ a+ D) X
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required4 N: Q0 C) l: d; N
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
5 r, u+ o" J$ |+ v- d" D( \• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
* `, b& Y; V2 ]• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department- a( O3 t4 f, s% j, [
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
0 h" P0 ~) u7 i# n5 u• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review# U4 K/ q7 B2 {. S6 J5 m( Y4 V
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:* W+ d+ Y/ d& E3 l1 i. s
0 \1 U3 j9 I, f• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field- G4 S3 i5 h3 g% E. w8 X4 O c8 [
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
. t- n! S6 Y- S• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience* g. P6 e- Z, {# I- \5 U, X4 _
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations, b" w+ J T# k6 w$ n1 t" a* J
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population" _+ _. ?3 Y) F: s( @9 r
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office$ n: B; P3 X8 z; K" I
