The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.7 K. V1 Z" z3 p8 \

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

, y. L( o7 f5 k•        Human Resources Management
4 L2 p2 c/ \$ |; e- `# H•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
/ L# e; R& ]  C•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 1 O$ s8 i& Y* I# X
•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities8 e& o1 ~7 ]3 V4 |1 W* \: a
•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services7 ^5 t$ z1 N' a( H& ]
•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities( [8 _! Y" M% W0 |! D3 C* S

Program Delivery
) \' p8 @8 [& z•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
4 Y" t2 q. M2 [% w) @$ u3 j•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes9 o" E; \$ ^* k% P* a) X7 m
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required- `8 ]! B& M) |- ?: {: a
•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
6 f+ T3 u8 j+ T4 `8 f2 r+ [•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested$ p6 t: w$ q2 `% H( O3 h6 _, u
•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department6 ~( E9 E8 o- {5 j
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration3 e5 t- H7 ~' f/ C2 C, Y; k2 O& }
•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director$ h, ]7 p% D* M  W" B2 @8 l
•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review) O  _6 |( e* M, i
•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:
$ U# A$ N3 F$ ~& J1 L' t0 @' U5 Q6 {2 m& l( E
•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
- B  S" R3 Z: P8 @5 w•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities/ S1 Y# z. O8 x8 s* ?+ x2 |) n
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
4 s1 R$ q+ R+ U3 h•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations0 m) s) C* j1 @9 L8 b2 O
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
