Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

4 H5 Y+ R& E: C; q1 jKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
7 j& K1 V3 l: D" y! m To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
. A- V, U9 i/ d6 q+ u To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
9 z( \# H; \: `. n/ K" \! w0 k To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
+ i% F- f6 x1 n To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
2 \( y7 t0 v5 ]4 } Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
