Housing Program Worker

3 @8 f5 p5 W. \9 y8 J, h- A6 g To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
, }/ f/ b1 b5 e To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
& A6 ^+ A' f# j0 _ To help promote the program in the community.
1 n! m" V5 _2 W' v+ i7 M0 ~# R( S To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
. Y3 `7 q( K9 r2 @1 C To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
* C% u) ?* t1 |) t* V3 X To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
