Housing Program Worker

3 q9 g/ L" R+ Y9 \/ mKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
( |! X; u; _, x( F; _; d To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
& d# ]6 a/ K) ?0 D5 c8 Z To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
, c$ h( I2 S, u To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
9 ~. A* D: H6 T9 C6 y6 ^% E 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
5 ~* w5 [$ D7 y2 v( I% V0 g! \0 Z Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
6 W/ A$ [# g% S1 w% o" ~; q$ W Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
. G* e$ t# I7 V; { Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
