Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team.6 x v! ?- p2 d9 g) Y
Responsibilities In this position, you will:
) B; I% A% H/ x. U" c% C• Plan and design major road and highway projects; 2 }; S9 w8 E; L) G8 t6 u( S
• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team;
$ U& a. X. C k4 I8 ^ R, n; X! w1 ^• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications.
- O& i0 l V5 u9 R4 `• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects; # {! |: P7 t. `& A, l; Z0 B1 P8 J v3 E
• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
