Position: Facility & Program Manager / Location: Edmonton / Terms: 15 hours a week, part fixed hours and part flex time. Some evening or weekend work may be required / Salary: up to $20/hour depending on qualifications / Closing Date: June 12, 2009.

Responsibilities: oversee programming; facility requirements, advertising, registration and instructor contracts; assist with rentals: advertising, bookings, contracts, inspections and customer service; assist with the development and implementation of a marketing plan related to facility operation; direct staff and volunteers in regards to programs & facility operation.6 u- K9 H4 w" d) I) {: D2 q& B

I1 t$ w* _, N1 gPLUS: write reports/recommend policy around facility operation to the board; develop resources & resource material in the area of community programming & facility operation; plan/implement leisure needs assessment, trends research & public consultation, then recommend strategies to provide enhanced customer service. $ p0 Z; x$ d, z& b
4 V) e# ^/ J& J0 Y2 JRequirements: A post-secondary diploma/degree is preferred. Experience in programming and administration is essential. You have proven analytical and problem solving skills. You must be innovative, creative/work well on your own. 0 i* X" a$ P4 Z. b: Z
: m8 a* }- e3 K r; m2 FIn addition: you have a strong customer service orientation, demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, collaborative/communication skills, and the ability to work positively-effectively in a team environment. You are computer literate & knowledgeable in the use of MS Office programs and internet applications.
