動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.0 C% o5 F/ \: y" k
我在「塔杰」商店閒逛時,看到收銀員將一些錢退還給小男孩。

# g9 f& M! C! o$ [2 h7 }0 _/ {The boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

: t$ T$ P6 `9 L  XThe Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '6 n0 x5 ?$ S  k, _+ {. w3 U2 P

4 ^* f- ?8 _' ]' F  t2 `, JThen the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,; F# t& \, V6 \* s( d
are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '

" ?3 L  r1 z* G! d: }9 a3 a  k; ?The old lady replied: ' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '
3 _$ v9 T0 K' P5 E7 o+ C) U; T老婦人回道:「親愛的!你知道買這個娃娃的錢是不夠的。」: p: s, }( o- ]& f6 K
- ^; ^6 }% ^" H  W# W. Q/ y( B' i
* Y" V$ {# f! W. Q  C8 T; {! M
Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.

The little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '8 f2 _( U8 P" r9 q# O! T  }

& u" J& z0 `- y4 m! ?4 h4 r: n( XThen he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. '

『好呀!』他說『我希望有足夠的錢』。沒讓他看見,我塞了一些錢到他的錢包中,我們開始數錢。買娃娃的錢足 了,甚之還有剩餘呢。

The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started.( C) k$ n/ z- S

I couldn ' t get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young

life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma., M; }. M  l+ ?; C  ]  l8 F+ N

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.3 d; B! x4 @7 c: L8 X0 b) A  b

1 f  _$ O% ~5 j1 d" NI couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.
+ A; d6 |- G5 O9 F& @. u7 I我不自主的買了一束白玫瑰,來到喪家,年輕少婦的遺體在她埋葬前讓人瞻仰與最後許願。

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.9 N. f  q8 p9 K# N; A% z5 i

对自己负责。对别人负责,对社会负责,请勿酒后驾车。因为这个小男孩有可能成为你家的孩子。
