動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.% y; x2 }, M# I, i, L* w$ O) L/ a( q* V
我在「塔杰」商店閒逛時,看到收銀員將一些錢退還給小男孩。

! k- Q! p; B: w  @The boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.* K7 ?/ L0 x: D+ ~3 y" u

The Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '  a9 f3 `/ _- u- t9 g: @
收銀員說:『抱歉!你買這娃娃的錢不夠。』& {( a$ ~5 V  z/ i% C. ?2 ^) P7 H

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,
2 d9 G: u& v) n, y3 Bare you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '

「奶奶!妳也認為我的錢不 嗎?」

+ s. b: |  t; e4 H: z6 Z6 nThe old lady replied: ' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '" j( I; O# {" F, \' Y
老婦人回道:「親愛的!你知道買這個娃娃的錢是不夠的。」

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. ' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '& [% e' I0 W( |5 M- Q& r
但他哀傷地回答我『不!聖誕老人不可能將它帶到她現在的地方給她。我必須將娃娃交給我媽,當她去那裡的時候可以給我妹妹。』

His eyes were so sad while saying this. ' My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister. ' '

The little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '4 F" i& v, ?( x/ ?2 p. q

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. '

- X( X$ a0 n" D% r9 _Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.9 \' Q& q: ?& r
『好呀!』他說『我希望有足夠的錢』。沒讓他看見,我塞了一些錢到他的錢包中,我們開始數錢。買娃娃的錢足 了,甚之還有剩餘呢。5 \4 X7 V8 G$ u0 V2 r$ k/ O8 ?0 M3 w

5 m# p; t+ m! d. xThe little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '2 j4 p% v; Q3 {3 M4 m+ R

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.

- }' K/ J* }9 T  sShe was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.7 U8 P- y. W; ^; V, X, O- C4 D& o

对自己负责。对别人负责,对社会负责,请勿酒后驾车。因为这个小男孩有可能成为你家的孩子。
