Activity Planning and Daily Activity
0 a( B6 z2 w4 k; m. l• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership./ B8 y& t4 C* B* P
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. ! I5 }' |" V- n; |5 y5 r& Q
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
2 o9 p" `# f' [! l+ u7 m8 F• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
0 U' Q4 ~7 Y/ N9 Z• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.5 c3 P9 j' b5 g5 X$ I, ?% G" ?
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.; \+ i1 g' `/ ?7 W) i8 R7 j
0 G5 ~' m- z; a8 H8 @: u$ N% KThe successful candidate will have:. x7 ?6 u! {) a5 I' ^
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
. a: f4 t1 r5 M• Experience with children: Z3 ^4 R5 |- [ c8 p% h" t; A( H
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
, I) N8 N$ t6 p* @' b2 e• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.; @' X9 y! o9 C( ~; d
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.9 B k. ~ u; V$ Z
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
( x: i. k# U% K+ v% N• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
; g9 g' M% D* n j/ C, I3 W! D# ^• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
