( K  h6 |# Q3 |/ ]Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
( [9 W3 x. f& I+ V. O' D( _(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

( w% S0 l+ N+ ?- |4 NKey Responsibilities Include:
8 p5 F# K' V2 \- Z+ S1 CActivity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

$ o, _3 K- c3 D$ o" {4 AThe successful candidate will have:
2 A- O! ~3 q6 j, C•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
* g- i! K3 O; c•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
" O# Y! R/ g# o7 v•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
( H) Q# O1 R% g' S•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
8 o, f$ a  U; }  X•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
