A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Answer multi line telephone system

• Arrange courier services for all departments
% J4 ~; T7 k3 J, |' C• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

Administration
3 J% a' V- k, C. D. H• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
* y( B) I/ \. X$ U" t: h, m ?% Q' {• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
* @6 Q2 P6 d( i( S• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
! e/ |& f7 }$ S! t9 }, G( F: g• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
e: D6 w9 c. R4 |( ]) [• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments 9 `% ~: y7 N2 a9 s& l
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested$ J0 s* y2 H$ G

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

Qualifications:2 z+ o3 u' Q: {9 O0 E# O% T0 X
- o( p) A1 Z' h# v& Q• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures! o( d8 e& b3 B6 c1 b0 [8 q
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.# y8 ?; W( m" N$ t' [
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset' `( Y- \! D( A3 f3 s) i" B* ]
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
