A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors1 A" Y( t1 b1 R2 Q0 c! {0 D
• Answer multi line telephone system
1 R' V5 J1 a% y, A• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries! \; [5 U, E' l5 f% f
• Arrange courier services for all departments* n' Z: j6 V" _) h, P
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers
& y; k, G/ P# X4 \; d9 A& \% S0 }) m
Administration
! [. o9 I9 I. a• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
9 z; U1 E6 B: l1 @• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
9 J+ W0 w$ y7 T5 |7 F/ Z• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
. Z. o$ }. Y. i2 }; ~• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
/ G0 v) G8 I& _9 R) J# G/ _' [• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
$ H& f, I6 N8 n4 Y5 O" O: D• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
) `+ L9 E8 ?* v• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset. O/ L, X" Z% s! a( e3 c. w
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills . N# H1 \8 O. E" k0 D. p
