( @. | Z, H% n$ M; \skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
6 j! u. R" q! s) Kprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
1 s/ V' @5 {: m( wexperience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as) W7 r( L" d3 m4 x. W5 n$ B* w7 B
warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
. T: H9 p+ P$ z4 yservices and others.

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian

* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB. |8 T5 @( j5 s, q n- K
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-

* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand/ B' E$ B; ?9 q2 d5 u; [
