请教:如何选购奶酪和牛油

超市里有许多品牌的奶酪和牛油,请问如何选购?怎样吃比较好?

说说英文名吧,奶酪是不是cheese?如果是的话,有几种吃法一是cheese片,做三明治时,夹在面包里吃,有一种是细条状的,可作比萨,还有一种是粉状的可把它加些开水煮成糊状然后浇在烤好的土豆上,也可把cheese粉散在煮熟的意大利通心粉上吃。还有一种小孩喜欢吃的(不到)20公分长的cheese棒,一包里有很多根,就当零食吃。如果你买回的是立方体或长方体的话,就自己动手切成需要的形状,好象有专门的工具卖,其实中国人聪明,就用菜刀也能解决问题。至于黄色与白色的区别我不太清楚。请其他同学补充。* X+ B- n: z7 E6 f& m- y

8 W% }' N: P' d$ W4 v你说牛油是哪一种呀,在国内用于起火锅底料。这里是不是butter?如果是的话,分两种,一种叫butter(块状),一种叫margarine(塑料碗装的)就是人造黄油。在洋人的食谱里常用到,至于中国用法,据说butter可以用来作馒头,成为奶油馒头,margarine嘛,烤面包时用,可用面包机烤好切片面包后,再直接涂上,也可涂上后,用烤箱烤几钟。后者好象更好吃些,小心发胖!!4 c% M3 K  }1 S% U  H) }4 n1 n

Cheddar or American cheese (yellow or white): for code sandwich, cubed small chunk of snack, burger or cheesy casserole (baking), the color doesn’t decide the flavor. The cover of the cheese should say: sharp; mild, which refer to the degree of the flavor.! L) o( y0 j4 P5 g$ V

; ^2 y# B7 b3 g  f" z7 }0 NMozzarella cheese (white, no yellow color): for pizza or Italian cooking
! p* L$ f; C: O" p. z3 {5 c2 w5 J5 t# h3 i9 ?( W( j, k' `
(Those are the cheese I can handle but many others I tried but no way to enjoy,  like the following: )

Swiss cheese (white, with holes): mostly for hot sandwich0 k1 U3 b5 S3 J4 N' w
0 _1 |* q2 X; ^4 M( p: t# j( v
Parmesan cheese (almost like powder): on top of dishes, mostly pasta.

Butter is a lot simpler:3 f4 e, ~+ m! A) G3 f) j

Butter stick (regular or light): 1. for cooking (just like the oil we use) or baking (e.g. bread, cake, or casserole), 2. you can also use it for bread spread; O# q6 j. R5 I; K
Margarine( soft butter): mainly or spread, on bread, corn…
& A1 p( Z7 q( H9 O2 S9 Y% V
, g# s7 l0 r) }1 @+ E# ]Cream cheese: also for spread, mostly on bagels; sometimes used for some bakery too
