There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont./ f' Z4 b3 l7 r9 ?1 {5 J
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
% l# y! q! s6 jIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.! T7 A5 a- |/ L! i/ s+ \; Y

3 {' r0 x4 t. |& C! ` WThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).- N$ _; S/ X4 Z9 P8 B" b
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see." w/ w2 K i0 _! a; }/ z
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.. S* \* L2 l& S. |! a

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
