We are seeking an organized self starter to support plant and field maintenance for assigned production equipment. Work shifts available are a 5-2 or 4-3 rotation (depending on the individual's preference). On-call duties are covered on a rotational basis.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
1 C+ Y; ?9 [7 z7 K• Perform routine day to day and emergency maintenance activities on electrical equipment;
' }2 A) L! P0 \: [8 X" _9 a• Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support on equipment in a timely manner;
• Work individually or together with other skilled trades on planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs;
, [$ G8 s5 ?9 z# z• Work with engineering and construction groups on the design, construction, and commissioning phases of new projects;
9 ?' i4 ]4 W3 r9 K4 Y. i+ w• Assist in the planning, execution, and start up phases of area turnaround activities;
• Assist with the development of short and long term maintenance strategies and plans;
" r* H: X, h/ L• Strive to keep current on emerging technologies;
$ @5 `! w! {3 B1 M, k• Ensure all electrical drawings are kept up to date, reflecting changes made in the field;
8 p1 m% }  d! m4 D; ?• Ensure strong commitment to safety and environment on all work performed;
  u1 N+ T- w) l• Ensure industry and corporate standards are followed on all installations;
2 t9 U* L1 M5 J6 w/ a( F, ^• Participate in the Process Safety Management programs in the areas of HAZOP, Equipment Integrity, Risk Management, Operating Procedures, Management of Change, and Incident Investigation;

Education / Experience
* I$ {) F: ^' |2 n* `) h$ T• Minimum of 5 years oil and gas electrical maintenance experience;
• Journeyman Electrical Tradesperson certification;
• Dedicated team player;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
• Good PC knowledge.

我在国内的工厂里做了十几年的电气工程师，在大学读的是电机专业。（哈尔滨电工学院电机专业，79届）。2006年8月份考了个电工证。在多伦多的一家工厂做了一年半的设备维护工作。去年8月至今，在Edmonton西边的一家工厂做电工。
