Job Duties / Responsibilities
5 O% W8 a, d, k4 X/ j9 oThis role is responsible for the following activities representing site: $ o' G1 N4 n" O" e( a! q9 { Z6 @1 }
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support3 E7 e; Y* |5 s
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel; ^( j6 e9 y; _& S( z- b& I; q
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
$ @: H; e# x \9 R8 o• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
- m4 N" U5 G! C• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams; z4 s9 \- ]) Q8 ]" I! N! M1 K' L
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
$ G3 U. h- D0 D• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
* B6 v: O& U# ~$ c3 J, F. [3 f- V• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
" I4 a H: v1 H) Z! E$ l% [• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.5 q7 D2 U4 r" y

, D! D/ c' X: H. I$ wEducation / Experience; M8 ~# z$ C+ J; B- B2 E, G
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI# I$ {1 G3 a' Y7 T+ f" T+ n
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
) r6 _* F' i. e# c• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
1 {" c( |* i2 v; C2 K; I6 Y• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
( H9 l! X$ G! d. U7 \& y7 |• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset* I, ]0 [. T w
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
