As long as it is not next to a busy artery road, corner lot is OK ( but most people do not like this idea) if the nearby terrain is a walking trail and fenced ; no extra snow shoveling is necessary, instead, you will have more natural light and better air circulation which is good. As sofa said, all builders are basically same but DAYTONA is a bit worse than JM (my experience years ago) IF you are going to have your house built and not buying one on the market, it is, almost for sure, of no use to get a JJ involved, (they do not know much more than you do and even if they did, they won't spend months to check as construction proceeds), if you know nothing about construction and you do have worries, you should hire a 3rd party construction consultant firm to do the monitoring but very often, the builder will deny your doing so even you are fine to spend the extra money. |
