The deadline for submitting our bid to Canadian Heritage was November 30, 2009. Edmonton EXPO 2017 submitted its bid to the Province of Alberta and Canadian Heritage by this deadline. 8 r% D5 p1 ]/ q
The Canadian bid city decision is expected in spring 2010. 4 g$ B: q. S7 `) CThe international competition follows. The earliest Canada can submit its bid is in June 2011. ! K( L- M5 k8 G; x* a2 B; T7 ^8 HThe host city will be voted on by members of the International Exhibitions Bureau in the fall of 2012. 4 u& b( F1 d: ^8 m1 o4 T' I; n
