( m0 N; L/ J! u ~2 Y1 ZPosition: Commercial Cook / Terms: Full-time / Compensation: we offer a competitive yearly salary with benefits / Closing Date: December 13, 2009. > The George Spady Centre is currently hiring a permanent qualified commercial cook. The position involves menu planning on a moderate budget, ordering supplies, once per week food bank visits, meal preparation and clean-up and dishes for 30 individuals, 2 meals per day in our detoxification program. > Key Qualifications: direct meal preparation experience in a commercial setting; excellent time management skills; ability to manage a monthly food budget; proven ability to plan a weekly basic menu; ability to incorporate the Canada food guide into menu planning; willingness to work with management in addressing nutritional needs of clients; ability to manage food donations and incorporate them into regular meal planning; positive work references. > Desired Qualifications: WHMIS & First Aid Training; formal education as a commercial cook; Safe Food handling courses; Drivers license and creativity. 3 H9 A6 J' M4 {' K' |: f. ^7 n/ b+ x
