FUNCTIONS:

The Materials Management Section of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to perform administrative duties and assist with the procurement of goods and services through various vendors.  Responsibilities include:/ Z9 w" k: z# G/ O. b5 E

! i% O) ?" g2 F3 }5 ]& b6 x·         Providing purchasing and invoicing services, including creating, placing, expediting purchase orders and processing them for payment using SAP." ^4 F! a, [; Y5 ^

·         Reconciling monthly purchases on Corporate Procurement Cards.

·         Coordinating the purchase and issue of service recognition items, member name tags, and business cards.

·         Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, filing, preparing and distributing agendas, mail services, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and coordinating the Manager’s meeting and schedule.( n) Y) ]* `  U! x

·         Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects related to word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college, supplemented by training in microcomputer applications.

·         Two years diversified word and information processing experience.

HOURS OF WORK:

SALARY RANGE:

# _  ~2 `; T5 y4 |21M, Salary Grade: 006, $1,053.13 - $1,307.68 (Bi-Weekly), $27,486.82 - $34,130.38 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
