FUNCTIONS:

* E5 S7 L; H# `9 [3 q0 `5 B! FThe Materials Management Section of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to perform administrative duties and assist with the procurement of goods and services through various vendors.  Responsibilities include:

·         Providing purchasing and invoicing services, including creating, placing, expediting purchase orders and processing them for payment using SAP.

·         Reconciling monthly purchases on Corporate Procurement Cards.

·         Coordinating the purchase and issue of service recognition items, member name tags, and business cards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

7 `7 R0 S4 _. m$ q( r" F·         Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects related to word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college, supplemented by training in microcomputer applications.' ?4 L! ?( `8 p6 m

·         Two years diversified word and information processing experience.

·         Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including some lifting, bending, and carrying material.

HOURS OF WORK:

  A1 a3 k$ _2 S21M, Salary Grade: 006, $1,053.13 - $1,307.68 (Bi-Weekly), $27,486.82 - $34,130.38 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.  Z, m3 z5 d% ^; ?; X7 |( _; Y4 e6 i
