十月底的下跌，好像和会计报表有关。

DVR 10 月 28 号发表 2009 年 Q3 报表，之前股价就跌，之后续跌。看不懂报表，不过，股价如此表现，应该是所谓的“业绩不如预期”。

财务报表上说，有 230 M 的债务，很可怕吗？

I am not optimistic about DVR for two reasons:
1. IPO is in 3-5 years. Long term investors shouldn't touch this type of stocks as IPO stocks tend to underperforme in the next 3-5 years after IPO. This is well documented in finance literature.
2. Take a look at the firm's main business, do you think it possible that they have more business activities in Dec/Jan? Also consider the oil and gas prices, especially gas price, do you think oil/gas companies will expand their production offshore? I don't think so for the next couple of months.

I think DVR will be lower. The second quarter may be better. Just my personal view.

Thanks for your advise.

I am going for this stock partly because this company provides special services to the oil and gas industry, which has less competitions.

As for the weather factor, I don't think it matters. The company's main operation seems in the tropical and warm areas, not in the freezing cold areas.
