+ `# f- I! c  MTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).

Responsibilities:
-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
' k+ D" l. {5 \3 }  s+ A-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
, j3 ^( F1 W5 `% D-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
# e" K. c) C* {5 w4 Q6 B% l-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

$ ?, K0 t8 M# a* D. [-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
& Q1 |6 l7 `( D: `3 X-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
-        Experience doing program development
-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
9 V: E; G% c$ ]  B: P9 {  D2 g-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
9 k2 x3 D- b, j, q-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

* j3 h) G1 g) \; n: k2 |6 ^5 s) K-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
4 M" n$ F' o) Q2 @/ P; G5 U& M-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
-        Skills in marketing & promotions

Other: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a police security check and child welfare check at their own expense.
