- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
9 w1 c- k% c$ _' N( Q& l' \9 H( v- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling. R3 w q2 s' w
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups+ G% d/ x* e4 [
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
! A; B- q* u5 Z' p- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health; f( L9 z, d& \; `. e# \/ ^ j9 E

Key Qualifications:/ L! E' G- P( |3 [7 e+ m
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences4 p$ K' o5 n# G4 Q( s% M7 p3 W
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
9 M) i# T. ^. I; T5 K& K- l- @- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others

- Strong organizational and coordination skills @- [- d" ?* {7 h0 ]: ^; j
- Self-directed and able to take initiative, o+ M4 l) q' b3 E6 R
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
- p x9 `1 N {( R- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license5 D4 f3 A; y- R/ {# }- \4 R. y. ]
