- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth9 _$ E2 B# p2 w8 S% H, O
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling; a" r1 S. U8 y/ d
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups5 x/ F" x1 i- h; B/ b+ H
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
9 i2 n) F K4 F! \6 w( ^- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health1 w" H" z. Q4 C( U3 w# _9 j5 {

9 [* E: [9 x7 z/ h( v) NKey Qualifications:4 R% X1 m; {, Y
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
4 ^ O4 Q- @8 u& T- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement- g0 N, T# h: K; `4 c- x
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others/ Q1 e8 H1 m1 F. D4 G9 P+ u2 g# U
- Experience doing program development
8 A7 d/ x, Z, {7 L5 U5 F! Y- Strong organizational and coordination skills
9 {8 B% T. I* W) n, J" B% P- [5 w/ ]- Self-directed and able to take initiative9 d9 ] Z) ~9 n
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
