- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications3 @- u# r( f& A% L5 |; q2 k( j/ V1 a
- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
, |& M" z$ _ f! l5 q" B( m- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects: p1 d. U+ J7 r
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
4 }9 g- g6 q3 J& t7 A- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects/ U0 A* H* P$ j# F" E& f @8 [
- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
- Y% P4 F+ C5 h, z- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
