March 7th: the University of Alberta Museums’ annual Science Sunday for kids!

' p. x# z3 ]5 N9 F) d8 o/ DOn Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.5 I; @% x- c7 B7 P- K. J" ~" u

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

) g" x6 `: [# w' T5 c* Z9 glearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut 9 `( X- ~" s+ z5 _+ t3 l2 `; F
digging for and examining fossils
7 C; O) r% h) ~" j B/ Eexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
( t u, Z, M( v1 e/ n9 yinvestigating insects
7 C1 z4 M( C+ c6 O/ r: z& z: x T. L: dand much more!2 H2 r0 R5 Z, ]/ e
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
