On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

) N: K) r0 c/ v/ Q( O# XBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
4 f; W* Q: w, v, K4 }; e2 @ ldigging for and examining fossils , g# _4 h$ c( ?' y, T3 p! f
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
* {8 H4 Q5 {; H0 ]5 A* Q4 ]5 Cinvestigating insects 3 c! J8 X- d5 d! a
and much more!
$ d- {% G6 r" p“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.# F9 R" b" K1 A) {6 f- K2 H
