are distant memories. Hearty indulgence in the many foods shared at Christmas

pleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then
# }3 B. r/ [2 i% p# i: U. peat yourself into a resolution to 'take off a few extra pounds' if you can 7 z( I0 t$ `. X. @( |3 R
smartly avoid it?
4 H6 H9 e5 o; _( b- m5 Z% j/ }/ p?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out 0 y$ Y+ t' J. [4 E
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem
+ f4 f! a! X1 O, b' L# C5 oto be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of
. K& D& Q6 |3 n, Zmoderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a 9 z9 S1 `$ N" `6 R2 G8 W4 `
Budget.'

to a lot of cookies, candies and other sweets at Christmas. At work, you may

be something like, 'Uh..no..bah humbug' all the time that some Christmas goodies : V2 `) Z+ X# {" v
are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays , Y3 |- p1 H/ D8 O7 C' V+ m
especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more 8 f& X  L% N  \: r# E
relaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower.
( Y0 H. v; U5 h1 {, Q. a?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to
* B; _% }/ Z6 I# W% M' w4 {substitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with % X3 K' D+ L4 E# q$ w5 ]
breakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie,
1 Z0 G4 o" B( E+ Q: ?# @from the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to
8 m( b5 n( L3 t4 Y6 v: m; dtell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into 8 H" H1 k8 P) ?

and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating

upon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate & F2 o4 L9 K& q: }7 v7 S
candies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies.   [6 z2 a5 C8 x

Dinner, where larger quantities and selection of food is available, the 'Eating 2 }+ K, O( Z1 l3 F+ l. D
on a Budget' plan means that serving portions and the choice of food selected ) z: b* T/ f" S
should be carefully watched.
5 z* T+ V* E3 fAt a party where more desserts and sweets are likely to be available, a few of
" i+ E/ l3 e8 n3 Fthe selections can be sampled. If the urge to try everything can't be resisted, 5 Q+ Y+ i9 p- ?/ i# y
then do so, but then second helpings have to be severely limited. The same is # ^! s/ b' U8 t' j/ I
somewhat true for Christmas Dinners. One big difference is that the food served 5 @" }, m8 \% m) Q0 K8 g3 @
during Christmas Dinner will be heavier, so by selecting portions wisely,air max tn, one

from food and your soul full of joy from sharing another memorable holiday
