therefore doesn't produce the same feelings of guilt. Nevertheless, its not a ) f& S4 B" a1 T% _' ]$ i
pleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then

?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out 2 y7 {1 i; T, P8 k/ J* b
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem
4 f4 q# X, \9 f" oto be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of
! n- p/ Q+ M" W2 u& Umoderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a ( G- |; c$ F% M5 G9 n

especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more % P* w; w& Y. u4 R5 a" Q" Y# N$ N
relaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower.
, a- i; ^2 |( N7 ??A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to
9 Z2 ~* t2 P# m* B& b! D6 xsubstitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with
, M& Z5 ]+ m( G. Z: [! vbreakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie, + p( C" o# u# m( T5 s" x: C
from the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to 9 l6 @, s$ D, Q1 v8 t( J
tell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into

healthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down 0 b$ |& X) o, n- x) q, F
upon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate 3 F. F8 x- u& N$ K4 h2 J7 [5 k. R- v
candies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies. 1 z% m8 B+ i9 u! O( x6 g
It's interesting to note that in a poll sponsored by the National Confectioners , |/ C; _% X0 b0 z0 \  S, t

the selections can be sampled. If the urge to try everything can't be resisted,
