smartly avoid it?
4 b0 E/ a+ g. K. u. g  \?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out
2 N; m5 t8 D1 J! H" y( j) sat a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem ( G* D! m# D0 w& n( W
to be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of 4 @0 a/ u1 c: r3 F+ ~
moderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a
! q$ e3 z8 O9 W5 i5 V! ?6 w; DBudget.': I2 r' Z0 Q! W& z% Y

to a lot of cookies, candies and other sweets at Christmas. At work, you may

+ k1 Z+ V9 k# m0 l" z  _$ @! D. kbe something like, 'Uh..no..bah humbug' all the time that some Christmas goodies , H: |& o, m) n3 P4 Q
are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays
. l. C- u+ g5 N7 g6 U0 x# ~) aespecially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more 1 u6 b6 `) Q! E; y4 u
relaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower. ' v8 O% j* v( G$ I
?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to / I3 r2 i2 _) Z. q. @3 n
substitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with 8 R! u/ S$ k1 }, {+ I+ \, h1 b! w
breakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie, 1 b; i6 M4 C3 }
from the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to 9 E* H/ t1 x4 l; h$ z
tell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into
1 {6 q; u! t: a3 Dplay. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will ! S7 C( ~5 `. Q% a7 g' H
be watching how you really eat. You can always have a few candies, one cookie or
  t4 Q* H8 q! W# i' ma cookie and a half by your desk and that way it will seem as if you are
0 g1 G" x2 K+ F' dheartily enjoying the holiday treats.? ' m" S7 n0 d: G3 S1 V' d
?Another strategy is to bring - bake or buy - low calorie Christmas cookies
; q( _2 p* a$ ~# T$ Zand candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating / B& N6 n1 b, v# ?  C- I8 @- h
healthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down
8 D- G* z: V$ a& U  ?! ?* Nupon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate   |4 @  o9 `) q; L
candies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies. # }7 I2 K, @3 ?4 s, d) o$ G3 i
It's interesting to note that in a poll sponsored by the National Confectioners
6 b& {. h( F; [Association in 2004,christian louboutin pumps, chocolate was the favorite food gift that Americans said
. V% Z" \1 A! i/ R5 ^4 Wthey preferred to receive for the holidays. The lowly and much maligned fruit 6 w; _$ `) N9 c/ g( K7 f" e5 \
cake was last on the list. The second favorite holiday food gift was a fruit
) r( [7 B3 O$ Z( Cbasket and a plate of cookies was third on the list,abercrombie bags, according to the
% k* I/ b7 y" |Association. 0 Q% E: l; s: Q' ?( N9 J6 }+ R% L$ ]
For an occasion such as a Christmas party or a dinner, including Christmas ! p6 Q3 n2 Y" P* p& |3 Y
Dinner, where larger quantities and selection of food is available, the 'Eating 8 z8 ]1 s# m- W( J. w! q
on a Budget' plan means that serving portions and the choice of food selected
+ b& o* N0 @6 }. {  Zshould be carefully watched. 8 b! Z' T, f, ~( a% _8 U
At a party where more desserts and sweets are likely to be available, a few of
, `7 B, Z' t5 k- F. q# g% Sthe selections can be sampled. If the urge to try everything can't be resisted, 7 b! |: d! y' r# c
then do so, but then second helpings have to be severely limited. The same is . b6 d# I  [+ W1 r3 s; k) V
somewhat true for Christmas Dinners. One big difference is that the food served % D* P1 ~7 u8 z# `  |! h
during Christmas Dinner will be heavier, so by selecting portions wisely,air max tn, one ! p8 x1 L7 B6 g4 `% E, Z
can always say truthfully that the stomach is full.
% {' @5 _7 F4 j+ k# c  C3 M# Q4 \0 `And indeed,juicy couture shoes, after a sumptuous Holiday Dinner, your body is likely to be full # ?2 I7 j0 b3 M: h3 v5 V7 @- ?8 J' o
from food and your soul full of joy from sharing another memorable holiday & m2 f: K; \( k
tradition with family, friends and loved ones.
