therefore doesn't produce the same feelings of guilt. Nevertheless, its not a
, n  u) z! S' n& ?/ mpleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then ( Q6 q. K8 L  [2 K
eat yourself into a resolution to 'take off a few extra pounds' if you can
; h0 H7 Q0 l' Gsmartly avoid it?
" v6 E- t$ |; J; }?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out ) @( q8 b  y' Q' I
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem 2 d1 I& m" m. t$ b! O
to be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of
& d7 X$ K' ]* ?moderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a ; M8 B( w0 O7 V8 w$ e( D
Budget.'

be something like, 'Uh..no..bah humbug' all the time that some Christmas goodies 3 [- I: _' ~7 m# J8 T4 Z; z
are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays # L' Y  c; |7 T8 A3 r5 `% g  b
especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more ( c1 P0 d1 g; f; P
relaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower.
8 v3 S9 d; f, E  v?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to
% ?3 F& v$ Q; @2 S& ]% Q, _( y1 H# Xsubstitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with 4 }' I: [8 R  b. e" {, h; j2 ^
breakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie, $ M' G. ?+ ]# M/ X% ]5 Z- t( }
from the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to
) u. \/ a1 n: D3 A0 S+ |) t- Wtell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into - C6 X% U" {. V1 t- B' ~
play. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will 1 m) }8 {' x3 b* _) v- ~

and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating 5 C7 `- ~5 P8 v7 n( |- V) s& |
healthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down 8 `7 s/ y+ Y9 B2 Z8 D* c
upon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate / a9 D: Y; {- z$ M) Z( E: E
candies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies.
, N/ W& v" C" C( j: |It's interesting to note that in a poll sponsored by the National Confectioners

Dinner, where larger quantities and selection of food is available, the 'Eating

should be carefully watched.

the selections can be sampled. If the urge to try everything can't be resisted,

somewhat true for Christmas Dinners. One big difference is that the food served
) a: p0 K/ q: P: }  k% Iduring Christmas Dinner will be heavier, so by selecting portions wisely,air max tn, one " R# r, v" Q2 g4 B8 c

And indeed,juicy couture shoes, after a sumptuous Holiday Dinner, your body is likely to be full
