What Makes Christmas Magical

are distant memories. Hearty indulgence in the many foods shared at Christmas

* c3 w" T# W8 d& A6 Bpleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then 5 ~. l8 `4 k, f( i/ u- K' l- i
eat yourself into a resolution to 'take off a few extra pounds' if you can
' t7 B4 q% [% d8 esmartly avoid it?: m& ~% p5 N: H* J
?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out - n3 `9 ^* L% f$ i6 G& P- q& t
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem + M5 I" S* n6 x. k
to be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of
$ X$ [) g$ O1 K2 E) U; vmoderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a   M* y7 t) D& y1 N9 ~9 q

are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays * v3 v7 l# l/ _- z
especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more
* [5 V0 x7 E; `6 Erelaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower.
2 r1 K5 Z; m) ]9 I# ]2 C% ^?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to
* I  Z9 P* X  W2 ]6 bsubstitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with
! P. W: b# Q6 abreakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie,
2 T; \& i- _  }4 W$ Mfrom the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to 1 s$ N2 N% O/ P
tell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into
% @; Q- d6 ~8 ?- Iplay. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will 3 I8 O- V4 {0 C% X8 n7 q
be watching how you really eat. You can always have a few candies, one cookie or % R  @% c! {; }4 c
a cookie and a half by your desk and that way it will seem as if you are

and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating
* g- W( A6 w: J' Rhealthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down % J0 w1 A; r7 y* v6 R  @* l
upon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate
1 t$ v& {3 k, m! ^7 z4 \7 Pcandies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies. / ^' c9 f/ Y) ?' z8 B
It's interesting to note that in a poll sponsored by the National Confectioners # V- R2 @. D6 M# c( v! A4 c( ?* ^3 V) y$ |

somewhat true for Christmas Dinners. One big difference is that the food served 3 N4 G5 J1 u" V2 L
during Christmas Dinner will be heavier, so by selecting portions wisely,air max tn, one 5 d0 }( h  S  L4 z
