What Makes Christmas Magical

During the Christmas season, summer and its body-conscious state of mind

pleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then 2 ?- h5 o3 u. h7 ?: a+ S
eat yourself into a resolution to 'take off a few extra pounds' if you can
/ N: C9 b! O" _+ k7 Wsmartly avoid it?. T/ y, @# y& H& x* g: a0 e! O
?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out ) v. Q; W3 C. v  e6 T
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem
( B9 P" R9 B/ t4 b3 [: X8 E4 S! @& ^6 eto be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of
) a: c+ z4 J% V1 _% E' |6 M/ E: t4 Umoderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a 4 x) S/ x* p( F) W' l. s! l* L- r$ u
Budget.'' c3 A" d: _3 n; g! t

to a lot of cookies, candies and other sweets at Christmas. At work, you may

3 q8 p5 H4 U4 v# Z! b% O8 Nbe something like, 'Uh..no..bah humbug' all the time that some Christmas goodies

0 S; c8 s" g6 }  n/ aespecially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more
( ~" `2 ]% C0 Y7 s$ D( F) A& e! irelaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower. 4 }' X+ b' ]+ @/ d0 i& z' p
?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to
3 j, {, \% N4 h" S: Q; l$ Psubstitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with
8 O# N) U7 k( ?6 }. fbreakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie,
5 O5 c. d; v6 [, afrom the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to
& F+ ^% [- W8 n7 {" xtell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into 7 [, j5 F$ z9 G7 k# p
play. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will

and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating
" O! F6 B! M1 ]$ Y- W: D9 yhealthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down % D* k& h) r2 Q- H; k' _: a9 g
upon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate
% I: t1 X- J; Q$ Icandies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies.

For an occasion such as a Christmas party or a dinner, including Christmas
2 @8 G  B. {& Q6 `+ lDinner, where larger quantities and selection of food is available, the 'Eating
0 L. V: H5 Q5 W$ E% _0 Jon a Budget' plan means that serving portions and the choice of food selected
  l) U5 r6 ]7 L# @* Oshould be carefully watched. ( ]  O; _3 R& a" B+ j; o& }
At a party where more desserts and sweets are likely to be available, a few of
' L; o. E; h5 H' ^the selections can be sampled. If the urge to try everything can't be resisted, & d+ q) T4 a4 M5 W
then do so, but then second helpings have to be severely limited. The same is 2 f4 H" k0 J2 j# T
somewhat true for Christmas Dinners. One big difference is that the food served 3 z& I/ A/ D( g
during Christmas Dinner will be heavier, so by selecting portions wisely,air max tn, one 5 J- o& j! b9 K. h* K
