" `+ c5 _+ i. f# }5 ?0 S" }7 g?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out
4 c) Q) x' |! ^% s( t5 a0 Z; b' w5 Pat a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem
3 T* D" v# O- Q5 E+ P" Tto be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of * ?$ j+ a. \0 ~& f
moderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a ) V/ O, t  U; q( n3 R, O. U! k- u
Budget.'

are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays ! b8 r5 h6 e6 ~% B5 g
especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more : N* H+ P* ]( ~
relaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower. " Z* e- n4 d9 z, K1 `2 K( ^
?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to $ D" l8 l3 [6 g) \
substitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with
1 Q' \& X. _8 T* Q% H+ p" T  Zbreakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie,
! l! c7 U2 ]# V: e. w/ \from the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to 7 f( S* b/ f, K3 l1 o- j4 I
tell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into . x7 g9 |7 C! L) y+ {" R
play. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will 0 ^! C8 X  L: w
be watching how you really eat. You can always have a few candies, one cookie or . R& O6 r" k% Y

?Another strategy is to bring - bake or buy - low calorie Christmas cookies 3 f: n. N) |; ]; l& j  {4 Z
and candies to work to counteract others that are being offered. Since eating ' c, [1 p. Q* S7 V; w" d
healthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down - ]* f3 Y5 Y$ j+ Z- ?8 f  A/ ~' ^- o
upon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate 6 ?0 W7 \" `* h: c7 R, k7 x! A' x
candies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies.

Dinner, where larger quantities and selection of food is available, the 'Eating
+ V% q( b! ]' _" i/ zon a Budget' plan means that serving portions and the choice of food selected ) V& s# f  U& p% n
should be carefully watched.
1 N6 ~3 S/ ^2 F4 v* nAt a party where more desserts and sweets are likely to be available, a few of
! @6 X3 ~  j( U* d8 M( o9 Athe selections can be sampled. If the urge to try everything can't be resisted, % g" M) A7 [( M9 n  h
then do so, but then second helpings have to be severely limited. The same is / I; ^) k/ I9 K2 _/ J- |
somewhat true for Christmas Dinners. One big difference is that the food served 4 z1 B: e$ v+ F7 R3 ?# Y) v
during Christmas Dinner will be heavier, so by selecting portions wisely,air max tn, one % x  n4 O9 P( t
can always say truthfully that the stomach is full.
