During the Christmas season, summer and its body-conscious state of mind 6 P" q% V, S, s$ R
are distant memories. Hearty indulgence in the many foods shared at Christmas 2 z1 c. q5 I. U4 S+ V0 ^
therefore doesn't produce the same feelings of guilt. Nevertheless, its not a
8 \$ c7 m; M- P3 ppleasant thought to start the New Year carrying any extra pounds. So why then

?Whether it's sharing cookies and candies at work, or having an evening out 5 X. ~# a! r6 P' h$ ?
at a party or dinner, you can have Christmas food and enjoy it. While you seem
' [! l6 n5 s5 G- R4 lto be eating heartily with a smile, the key is to have a secret strategy of $ ]$ a- x+ O  B" m, G( F& `
moderation. It involves sticking to a plan that can be called 'Eating on a 1 o0 D( p$ y9 P2 C6 I

are offered. It will seem as if you aren't in the spirit of the holidays 7 k. G5 }$ @+ d6 V: N
especially since at that time of year everyone is usually in a festive and more
5 d4 ?0 c9 Z1 ]2 h' l. L  A! G% `relaxed mood, and the pace at work is usually slower. 8 v, M. L# z1 C* Y, W! W/ V
?A practical way to partake in Christmas goodies, for example, is to
4 V% S% e4 R  h' B1 G2 t$ `7 ^substitute some holiday cookies for say the bagel that you usually have with + n" B6 S& r/ H3 l  Y# b8 H* @
breakfast or for a mid-morning snack. And instead of just taking one cookie, 3 T5 N1 R+ |) F, @7 n% z
from the platter, which is noticeable and likely will encourage a colleague to . ^, s' \0 A" r9 D1 l
tell you to have more, take three instead. That's where the plan can come into 4 W6 Q' W. I9 R% Q' `+ r! h
play. You can then enjoy the cookies over two or more hours,ed hardy hoodies, because nobody will

healthy is highly encouraged, health-conscious cookies will not be looked down
$ W2 f4 B8 w" ~1 q* e5 ~3 fupon so long as they taste great. A box of sugar-free Christmas chocolate
( r9 b3 e  U+ j( Ucandies for example will look just as delightful as regular chocolate candies.
/ a8 \0 u& B4 K! O3 S. j9 VIt's interesting to note that in a poll sponsored by the National Confectioners
