He began work with our Union in 1981, receiving Inter-provincial Journeyman Electrician status the following year — and in 1988 he also became a Journeyman Boom Truck Operator.7 q* r3 [4 T" L8 ]6 v

While on the job and with a young family he continued his education in night courses, graduating from the U of A in 2001 with a degree in Human Resources Management. In 2003, following two additional years of study, he was designated a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).3 U. o9 A" Q4 @' B

& x. ~' ~+ H& s; U" [For four years, Tim was our Local’s Dispatcher before becoming Assistant Business Manager in 2002. In 2004 he took over the reins as 424 Business Manager.
