9 ?8 `  j8 N3 O4 V& C4 u; j. }Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
, o3 f4 n' t9 X9 q" B* r3 [' C7 M7 `7 `5 r        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
' S9 q3 f7 o( N. K8 U" ?% V8 V•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
7 e  W9 |4 M/ u; b•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
8 I. i% o! [# ]4 G, T' l! o7 s- P•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
' r3 R+ d3 M1 K: [. V, i•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
