MECHANICAL DESIGNER(HVAC)

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

- O* r3 M3 H1 d  @2 X2 CKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
5 m9 f, k; k( K$ }* H/ B        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
  e) ~2 B1 E) p7 y. R        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

4 _) ]1 }5 U. \$ aQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
6 P2 r) [; h* ]. i: X' W. }•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
" q  `( n( E0 [7 _* Z•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
. |. N: a( K  h' u$ g$ o•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
