. S3 D! m) }& b7 ?Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

) a: O" }0 i1 Q7 jKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
( D. s9 F  X# L- d2 |# c) c+ e, f        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
7 J8 |' C* T; W/ N* Q        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
0 b7 [' g5 i- @5 |' k        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

  q' X& K. o& H' Z& p+ m7 bQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
' I1 }0 A0 m+ \. J4 r" Q. _* H•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
0 M# C; `( n' v$ L•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
# R3 H/ c9 k1 Z' n0 T! E•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
- e' N7 q6 r+ g! Y# G" o* z•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
