SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
2 s/ @( n) H* k8 Y5 |4 VEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
) y, l& A$ m4 ]2 voperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
7 z8 h( S0 c3 qthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
8 o: {) i* x; _. Z/ Y2 l; v% Xcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
) b& ?4 M: ~6 ^! p  o% [/ N• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who

: l5 |6 p# ]) jStore Responsibilities
8 ^: G8 L  E  T5 i( J2 q, o• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
. Z' a0 z3 C2 T4 W• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
; G) m. i7 y/ o• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
9 b* B; |9 o, d- l. S8 a• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
+ R0 k& A) X  @8 q5 m• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
* w  j# x6 l" b, X2 q1 T• Protect company assets at all times
" W2 n- p9 m+ }4 g' w• Close the store (key holders)
5 v* k+ _/ T& M  O# m& H• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
. m, h" y# Q* V5 J# Q) K+ `/ s• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
7 w) K; I# U/ T5 u& d• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Fast paced environment

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds

• Comfortable climbing ladders
