Preferred: knowledge of immigrant or Aboriginal culture and/or language; experience with functioning of non-profit society.

A: r- E( Q# m5 tRecruit Volunteers – facilitate on-going recruitment of volunteers to participate in the core group of PA; this is done by inviting members of groups who are being presented to, making contact with other youth groups, and by print media, broadcast media, and e-mail invitations.: \/ z. Training – facilitate weekly meetings of core group volunteers. Training in participatory techniques, presentation techniques, and knowledge of race-related issues.

0 I/ B3 |$ }1 l0 y' YOrganize Presentations – advertise presentations through distribution of brochures and posters and by contacting interested groups and schools by phone, email, and mail; take requests for presentations, set up dates, and ensure adequate volunteers are present to facilitate discussion.* E' R0 R1 d8 F) K1 {5 U/ E; Y4 H
1 T' w9 c* d: s( zNetworking – attend meetings relevant to organizational mandate; create/maintain relationships with community groups, individuals, institutions that are interested in race relations.* B3 _/ O9 b/ Y( [( \+ t" t
! _' s6 g; P' T9 v3 @' mProfessional Development – be informed on current issues on race relations and other areas relevant to the position.

. P& Q4 t. a c6 i' P4 \Proposal Creation – with program manager, create proposals to all funders of this project. Ensure criteria for each funder is met in each proposal. Also with program manager, create a logic model for each project with activities; short, medium, and long term outcomes; and indicators. & c3 L+ t/ Y" x. A; V4 P

Project Evaluation & Reports – submit timely monthly, quarterly, annual reports and include in all interim and final reports, outcome measures using indicators from logic model.
