The first thing she pounces on at the showroom is a pair of blue patterned boots by Pucci. "These boots rock," she says.
c0 ], J/ A& I" M3 g! { She works through the collection, holding up a brightly patterned Christian Louboutin or shoe every so often for a second opinion from her father.
1 [' _& u6 ]5 v# r$ f3 O8 C1 t "Do you like that?" she asks as she holds up the hottest shape in louboutin this season, the bowling shoe in purple and violet sunray stripes. It gets the nod.

A dubious look from her father puts her back on track. "But it's not us," she agrees.; C8 f, s& `, k! w
They also agree that shoes and heels will be bought in matching pairs, another strong ladylike trend.: R! A' Y7 i3 g, U# r+ u
Although many may envy her job travelling to the world's fashion capitals to buy the most cutting-edge collec-tions, she is quick to explain that this is no shopping expedition.+ w2 n8 v0 f; W6 [$ i- h! _2 ]3 m
"This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."1 K5 j. z: ?4 H/ o4 h
