& R! ]( _- s/ ^# U0 _+ D# Q$ aOur Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
: |6 x( ^! j3 `8 Q( [$ c5 MUnderstanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
. `2 U$ e8 t4 A/ hExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
) d' }" Y9 H1 C$ AExcellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
/ f2 z( T) k% q$ z9 zCurrent knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
