This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
+ U1 b/ Z, X& {Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
% |/ I- K0 w3 h+ k+ ZAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
! T' E" t$ [( j4 `B.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
4 n) D1 Z$ J& YSeveral years related experience in a similar environment
# _; t& T5 t6 m4 Q# p! J  TKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
; Q  P3 x5 n# oExcellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
