Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
* H) j$ f7 Y/ m5 U) W2 [1 [Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
( Y; \) F5 ~" K& X! dment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
0 [% {& G7 {  w2 t7 U+ e' g+ k1 cThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
2 s5 j! k& q* k& U, GŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
7 d7 S  C) Y7 n7 f5 J* tŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
. p3 ^1 Y$ ]  |; i. F1 }" |) Simplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
% l9 z" ~% k# S9 }4 l% x& F+ ZŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
' O+ p( ]& i+ c- H* u/ Peducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
. g( @( E" |3 w9 b$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
