Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
) F; W5 X" R6 l$ I" qManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
6 i4 k' c' ^# @( OŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
& K; |9 r% s1 h- E7 Z- r* Bthe organization;
8 W3 `1 x( O* n( D: L- zŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
9 R! U" ~3 W! m: \3 LŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
# ~4 S* U  ]! T) x/ LŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
5 c8 o7 r/ G: @8 u  ?, m0 [. mŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
3 i2 U; F% A  X. J/ q! kŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
  i. Z9 T5 X; T. @" BQualifications:
; Z4 e. K. E( m+ PŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
( R! u0 j8 }! L7 B! Ceducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
  E7 z9 H3 z8 u( H' z" nverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
