Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
9 }" J, J; c1 G$ q5 X( T, |# LManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
$ |5 ^" p# ^  o( W8 P- y7 v' Q& t# kment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
8 C& W8 i8 y0 \' M) J5 jThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
' c' V& s0 F. j/ Q* A7 d3 QŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
- r- A+ r# h* i+ R8 X$ x3 F0 e) NŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
7 R2 {6 Q  q0 `& ^8 s, u* K! L4 rŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
- e$ c! l/ c- }0 O# `Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
7 f6 u# W( a' F$ z: `. TŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
  w& t' Z7 ~% A8 z' e+ e% PŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
; Q2 `9 G! L! N1 Q& {# m6 XQualifications:
8 t% w- G' Y: P, K% T9 {/ aŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
2 \. u8 g5 i7 \. v9 j$ }3 {Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
/ u- o3 [/ Z: {: zŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
, ?5 A9 m# |% J1 G# gverbal and written.
! ]/ u' i$ n. m& eLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
