Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-' H+ h+ h( s% t" d& P6 G# N
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.4 R6 v9 t! ^5 M4 X' f, C5 Y
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
, z7 E* s9 K) w( F( s* |Ÿ Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into 1 z- |! M2 D. F5 x- i
the organization;
4 e* B* U8 s# L' `Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;/ L; d$ Q" G- q2 \3 ]: H- ?9 }
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
& S, y# {, x4 q$ C6 {support;
3 K9 q A$ R$ FŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
8 g/ V* ~* F3 {6 D6 u; u8 y6 Eimplementing staff wellness programs;
4 Z X5 U9 j+ ] S, p, U0 V0 ?. r5 FŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;4 S$ j# o1 f. w& B x$ O
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 n7 {! E9 ^! l6 i7 cŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

Qualifications: [. c/ s" h- Z) k* o1 Y
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
% v7 y# P. U/ f' [5 X9 X4 feducation and experience;
R- H. k! \, c* X4 N' a8 @Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;, \7 k# t/ T: c9 p* {
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;1 M' K9 u b, `
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
+ T7 M2 ^: u6 Q1 p2 s$ Tverbal and written.5 y4 u' R J$ q% y9 O& s. y
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package. Salary Range
4 U6 ?0 V, V# X+ \! T" g {5 I0 \2 R$71,690.77 - $88,789.06. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. 2 n& b' h8 a# G& Z) ~8 Q' v
