Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
5 v  F5 ]& R( ]0 u8 W4 CManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
- ]. x, l$ D7 C1 hment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
" E3 a$ V: r: `Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
' W: N( v; N% ?+ d9 Cthe organization;
2 Z- ]- |5 E8 N: |2 m+ z# ZŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
, J, h0 h! b% U) O7 r7 \! Bsupport;
( ]( r5 s& X( U/ K+ zŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
! z: h6 `5 ?6 S/ Q2 G3 y4 I) i; ?implementing staff wellness programs;
" h4 t3 t5 G' e+ _; rŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
6 ^* F1 O! J6 k7 x- t& F7 ]Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
' D9 J8 N. ~% S' m- N. WŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
9 M, _# X% w5 nŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
% H* Z) b# K& n5 m$ lŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
+ k5 ?$ I' f5 vŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
$ e* w* Z. D% J. {/ v+ RŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the

; U& g+ J7 `* F/ k' X3 cdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
