" C- Z  i- |9 V% c# o$ N Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
$ d) P7 {' b& Q  b. X* P! ]6 \& s Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
1 ^* a! W2 r* f+ I: A Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
" L+ C+ Q2 x) |2 C Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
2 q1 }6 O3 Y9 Q, W. u# w7 G Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
& K% R5 a" ?5 ^( \( G/ H Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
: Z- o. Q* d( v; \This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
