1 j+ \# q4 M. W1 i0 [ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.% s4 j# W) [9 U) }7 i
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
( S x! H' n- ~: S& N, O Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.4 n- p5 V% _3 x" z7 v2 _
 Completing required paperwork.
3 R. z5 k! } _" m C Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.' r) c R* o( l/ ?& y2 P0 q
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
& q. o' u) X8 ]3 A X) D9 } Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 4 z6 t# J4 }( v. E
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

4 L+ p, {3 o2 F( d9 F, a Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.2 Y2 G: k* ] \6 Q
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
/ P$ S8 N2 z" Y Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.6 ?4 D. a9 z) D: \5 d7 Q' c% ^0 S
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc./ O+ ~/ n" _/ `( J$ M, A
 Knowledge of community resources.8 u$ q" s1 J3 U$ C* L3 o% g
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
