1 j+ \# q4 M. W1 i0 [ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
( S  x! H' n- ~: S& N, O Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
3 R. z5 k! }  _" m  C Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
& q. o' u) X8 ]3 A  X) D9 } Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
6 w. h3 G; L' b9 @. n: k& N9 c Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
" U- @- C. |2 g2 b6 D# t Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

4 L+ p, {3 o2 F( d9 F, a Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
/ P$ S8 N2 z" Y Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
1 E$ R& \) G- a& h; q. g3 Z9 [' p5 gstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
