3 e# m9 B, U; t5 f• Process research equipment design;
4 b# R- o/ Y4 Z7 k; U$ a1 D• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
1 i" B1 R; Y+ z9 z• Equipment fabrication guidance;9 D, \2 ^' {0 G8 X2 F* F, b
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
" e9 ~! m! j) B% y( ~• Others.

Qualifications:% D% o6 W' j u* w: J0 ~* ]8 Z
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. ; n1 Q* M0 P, @9 T
• Equipment design experience is required;
- R& i3 f1 \' ? V" n) r+ g• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;* z) F( b) N- V' u) T- u* s! ~
• Familiar with CAD software;% X' J/ o# n# m7 e
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;' L* H) L) P+ L B) p5 V6 O
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
