Major Responsibilities:1 I. e2 ^* `, c) p
• Process research equipment design;
1 j& q, E2 s# s7 K! e2 r• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;4 f) x/ D7 N8 l3 U6 ?9 x8 u! R
• Equipment fabrication guidance;6 c1 w% ^) b5 Z2 u( r1 W3 u
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;3 b# l- ?+ h" \) |' X2 N
• Others.

Qualifications:: @) O; B# H6 p
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
2 O [# u$ k+ [6 P" Q! s" N* }• Equipment design experience is required;
`* A9 k" K# f# U: D• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;, B3 x! X3 g. q8 b) c9 R! [
• Familiar with CAD software;
, m6 D/ @" O0 r) c8 X• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;* c) D5 W+ S. A& ^* l1 d/ A
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

# T8 [! H3 E5 {7 I) Z# M! W: M5 PSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. % {/ A( H7 r- m2 ~1 T( O0 b
