Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

1 g. F( D: q! k3 I7 @Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
# ]* L4 }3 ]1 |! C" Z" B  VReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
9 ~, c# X4 @% K: @3 xResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications
4 d4 S4 T' H7 _: D0 @6 E
Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
+ P! x$ g8 g  r1 x" xExperience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
# [) S" U; i) uCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
% k% h# F2 G% H- A$ H$ G7 h% @+ o2 OAbility to communicate with all levels of management
