Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects - b3 N) b& _- q/ n+ w
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures 6 v) h' O0 Y% B( g3 I# I+ E+ y
Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs 7 x0 ^! z! Q% k+ f( Y7 s/ `# t
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

6 T2 }# @6 g( i7 Y* T) R% K OQualifications2 z2 j/ c. \% r& {
- G( E- o" A: {" ]% V, m1 p5 M1 IGraduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman , [) n* K! ?. Y# y3 Q/ ~3 N$ o+ t& B
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
( j% [3 k# X% s7 `+ k4 a$ iMinimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
9 D2 H3 _8 c0 \) OExperience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
+ c/ M6 j. W+ V+ uUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
. z0 Q2 i4 n, L" j q+ w' P1 MUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects 3 W2 [$ J: o4 R( w, D9 M
Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
+ S. y6 b* e; n) X. qAbility to communicate with all levels of management ' T- J7 t: l- s8 L) t% K3 Z
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
