" W" x4 W& A9 i# ]# W" ~8 VTagbaema Society is a non-profit organization that provides a wide range of outreach ; v) ]4 T/ S. [5 t+ P* v
services to families and technical assistance to ethno-cultural organizations in managing 1 k3 q' m4 V0 C- M: W8 W
their development. ! _& F8 ?# w4 B# f+ L, N
7 V7 k/ r7 ~, f8 U, WTagbaema is looking for two young and energetic individuals who would like to get first ' M( ~+ [4 q: Q! y
hand experience, assisting with the development and implementation of the Youth
' M( G6 F# J" M$ NEmpowered to Succeed: A Push for Better Future Project. Your role will be to establish a , Y" I6 l7 S. r8 v# r
youth steering committee and coordinate its activities. You will also be directly involved
/ [" |9 S8 V3 q, N7 o( U. t5 Yin the implementation of the project and will work on our productions and activities. You ; t* |1 f2 R. r' y' `
are expected to perform some administrative tasks including marketing upcoming events,
, ~1 Z! } n$ n4 k9 p2 A' k qbalancing budgets and making arrangements for future events. You will report and be
- x: c& E8 s% H0 ^6 xaccountable to the project coordinator. ) Y. A: q% I8 T; R
/ k" t$ e3 P4 w4 |; q
The youth leaders will be needed about 18 hours a week, with hours flexible to own
, A/ o6 l4 z# c! s. Lschedule but will include some evenings and weekends. A commitment of 1 full year is
( _' w$ H; h$ u. `( m# r6 ~desirable. / }/ d% H" D8 Q3 {; @
4 i) ]2 J/ b9 F& KQualifications
7 ?9 [- x4 B* R) C: s18 – 21 years old with good personal and teamwork skills
: N1 \' R) k8 T, j7 o( p# AKeen ability to organize and lead ( r1 ]! E0 S! ]) q A c
Regular attendance at meetings
, M8 U h. j9 C' T1 ~) ARelate well with other youth and adults
