The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
t1 l1 C$ u7 D e) }6 F) G `• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required. R1 h( q/ @4 Z/ b% E
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads; R' x8 i& j B! J' v
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits

. N5 G, Q: `- l• Update and maintain databases
# r+ i0 t' v5 k, ?• Generate monthly reports and statistics
! w: z1 M7 ~$ u! t2 m: P2 D$ L• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation: o4 w7 w4 ~4 y) e6 l- r
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
% x4 }! F! D. E3 L• Write and revise business correspondence and forms/ S5 Q- W" |( C1 c. M. z
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
* \ t0 O) F2 P$ c7 [3 F8 M• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure# N3 m4 Q7 Y2 ]6 n
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 3 k. i8 J8 a$ o% t
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
' C: b0 \# b$ ]• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work& _) Y$ I1 l) x' s
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population( D' N' v3 s3 ~6 [, b9 X( z: f8 b
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
