The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.' Z9 z1 {- b. f) A; i7 D

Reception:- O3 N \/ S' g% n: K' n# q
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
4 \$ p0 r% A# \: p( X' G K• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
. r0 R2 @, N" b3 r- k$ m• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits5 O% x; F) x* ]4 }( ]6 D
• Input and manage high volume of data# v9 f* l* H0 d+ p
• Update and maintain databases
: i0 D7 K b$ V. N+ u" O• Generate monthly reports and statistics
; D) m# n0 I8 y* u- `9 c• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation1 i% o% Q9 @% `% b
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
$ M, M9 H% T5 K1 }3 e+ F• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
; ?1 [; q* p; ^+ b7 s• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors) {5 E( k0 K& w
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
4 m3 @9 l, U& U1 ]• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:
1 Z: M# s$ g$ P3 U, d6 n- R" m" k" P/ }: t4 X
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
1 I. m2 n* n# U) w5 f• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS " J+ g! Z/ |2 c; d2 a* E% ~
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* l8 B8 @1 t2 j. G0 q* _• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work* v, f9 }3 [& ^/ q2 {
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities
) G8 c$ p9 v! t0 ~ Z# S• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
