The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 2 e# {' F) B1 j1 l

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team./ {; M9 P& y8 _! A* x/ `2 d$ Q& P

Reception:
$ @1 T" t- y$ A, a2 W6 K! \• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
/ C6 N" S' `) \5 p0 ?3 T: h• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:; d$ ]8 F- Z/ L4 @
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
' H! x/ G, W. K) J: Q, p+ a• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits; w; }) J& i2 ~2 y3 n( H& f
• Input and manage high volume of data* j% n, D( W5 C' P9 m
• Update and maintain databases6 @; p; Z* ^4 O
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
+ ]1 B( T/ o$ t) [2 f• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
" [3 w/ C7 ?, A) S1 O$ s; e• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
7 z* a3 \; U6 b7 x! c$ j1 ?• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
5 I/ y1 @/ g) e& n ?• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors3 `' P, _- K$ E% C! y8 w5 p$ \# B1 R
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
, L6 `. k; z+ K2 w• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:
/ s* p- B% S5 f. {0 `9 x6 E; b3 Y# N) ]
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
, `; M( e( G! v3 g; j3 z• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ! S( ~# m% B: d8 ^% _3 l
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills# x% g i: M5 r' M. [
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work; l% l4 k0 W$ b7 K9 @1 H& ~
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
6 B1 E; v7 O" U7 I• Strong customer service skills; ^7 u; e1 ~! ]; B# X& i0 c
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
