. K2 V2 G2 N! g, O5 k8 v! U  U, E Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
- t: d: P' p# b% ~" } Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
. x0 A/ @% [4 S; J/ D) s Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
2 n  @* a& d1 x: p Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
. Y! X6 b5 |, T7 B  ]8 t Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
  B% M) d+ Z6 k  @: g8 L' i Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

1 r+ H2 C4 o, s  S% h1 ~
/ q9 z- z0 C9 I/ a Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
: W) L& o& i/ W/ Q$ C: S Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
) \: N4 _7 x+ \; Q Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

9 b  u  `$ l6 R; N  W, J, BThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
