 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
5 }+ T0 @6 p* R Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
) p- A0 r* S: u Q8 ~7 S: @ Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.1 K6 a5 g( C9 T. O. A
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

4 z% |4 H1 R& e9 B7 p# L" A, h' {' B Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.. b- ?2 O2 T/ R! w' j8 Q3 ?
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
$ ~: n7 B. n) e) o# J0 C Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
% Y: \5 _. r9 c6 w* n Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.! U8 F6 P6 P j+ t! a, x9 Q y5 U' J
 Knowledge of community resources.- ?' t7 x" R+ Q" w
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
/ W" c. ?9 z9 P1 w+ _& L& m1 m Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. 9 z; u( @& \6 X" A( X) {

/ {( m1 `1 ~+ ]/ I) PThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
7 \/ S, ~# y SThere is a 3-month probationary period. ! p9 g/ b- T3 B% M
