 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
+ e" F3 \$ S* W, P, W7 p Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
8 P' I  R1 I) n( x" Y% ^ Completing required paperwork.
8 Q/ \3 t4 y( K& [+ f3 O Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
- w* K& Z/ F$ S8 z# I" r, I- U Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
$ F3 E% [6 P1 O$ P Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

" {. o" H8 J8 e) b7 }& p Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
: [5 n6 @+ t5 C: H Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
1 }4 f4 \. G) x2 fThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
