 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
L4 ^- C% {& y# B# o* N9 _ Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site. P0 C- M; n( Q' y, K# H( f
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.6 t2 b+ X- B5 R) t# c7 K- o
 Completing required paperwork.
5 A8 i* S' Y# w7 y' F# J Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.: p7 p9 E+ o& s
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.3 b0 c" A' v1 N; x+ w; ?" r
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
' j/ O7 f8 `6 I; l. W' l Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

' K; G7 @+ \9 B5 h3 O Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
. @" v8 U, E7 q- `' p1 f+ a Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
t3 E* q& O6 R6 Q2 ^3 x+ R' }2 H Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
, a- h7 z+ U; h Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
! r$ h3 j" s/ I6 m w0 X3 D- b; l Knowledge of community resources., J1 H: y/ p9 C5 h- P
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.

6 {- T/ F' }8 \# d% Q+ ]4 kThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
