City council is considering putting 30-kilometre-an-hour zones around some schools, after pressure from parents.

# l# w: _8 q' w/ hAdministration officials have long argued that there is no evidence school speed zones reduce the danger for children.

The city hasn't used reduced speed limits around schools for more than 20 years.
