Responsibilities5 `) Q& y) p$ W! |
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
3 ]/ e1 T/ v4 E' n7 s! d■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
/ u4 \; u& ]" j4 L0 Y7 p2 L■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
$ V- {" n/ }7 _) o' Y KExperience and Education:
. }3 w9 v4 \7 G■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
" w E/ u, X4 U0 Z. [1 e! h■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.% l! G L2 A' W$ }3 }
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
7 Q4 `/ c% ^3 w■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;& C! |4 q& [3 i' Q, y- }# ~8 ~
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;0 M! K; |+ U: u) E
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
) N8 }* c6 _! M' S" q- o# }, R■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
