Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
# w% ~2 N; G' O$ w1 y■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
5 h3 D- D5 R5 |Experience and Education:
1 D+ m( P7 Z, V5 _. }# M■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
9 C+ y; ]7 k' J$ R■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
: c8 z7 b2 T% W  J( |- W■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
/ i  f  ?' L( d■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
9 m8 c2 p' e  l7 g■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
4 P) {1 }0 c6 y7 S■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
