■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.3 v$ t' Y: L9 w& x( Z. S, [! r- ^
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
, i& W6 D+ n0 i5 S■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
) {- F" k2 {! b" iExperience and Education:
8 {9 v3 w1 S9 Y" f* \7 S■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
/ h" R( s+ [9 v& @6 Q& e. s■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.! N3 B; w$ U9 z3 ]2 {6 J
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.3 l8 I f+ Z1 r0 V( |
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
1 y0 A" i- N8 b) Q/ q- \+ V■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;, Q' P% R% N9 _- \* ]' d
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.# ]6 b2 b. X8 j+ y/ ^
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
