■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
) b; `- q/ w5 y; U7 Z8 o■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships- z* m, o8 V6 @ U" F
Experience and Education:
2 Q1 }# A9 e1 q; q■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.; ~9 b) G3 F" h
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
: n0 X. t& t( K, n2 g■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
3 G1 i+ I1 j; _: r- u■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
: s) w) i. P7 o+ f; C( a! D■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;! X) f$ S' \4 l, e) Y( q: o
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
% W7 F6 G2 s V■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
