Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)2 H: k4 g& C, K( i( C3 {( d
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
5 u! U* B' d, Q9 Y! hPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed4 J5 }4 z8 l! A0 l& C* v
Performs related tasks as needed

4 \% M2 |% y2 {8 p) kDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred* h `: [# O n5 |; x5 C, `
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
4 t( ~- i) q1 S5 sSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset7 g W' q" \1 g6 j
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred1 g' T2 c- u* j! T q: U( L8 X5 W
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit& _2 \- E6 I- ]) t0 ]/ c7 J
