 Develop initiatives that convene stakeholders, community organizations, government agencies and foster collaborations between immigrant and main-stream stakeholders. / M6 |" n+ Q( T+ s- ^& c, G
 Proactively assist immigrant communities with: identifying needs, training, strategic planning, board development, project development, community economic development, funding proposal writing, program planning and implementation
- \/ X! r% L8 `5 @ Develop Community Economic Development initiatives and provide small business coaching to groups and individuals

 Advocate for systemic changes that foster full participation of newcomers in the community

Background & Qualifications:

 Demonstrated ability to independently develop community initiatives
* ?! O6 {# R% @% Q/ Q# H Community development and CED background and experience
4 |5 N) l' B" K9 t( u2 X& ` Strong group facilitation skills ) Q* _# j2 y/ c- S F
 Experience supervising staff' c( J9 g+ v% n3 ~6 ?( x& S
 Understanding of cross-cultural issues( k @0 |" E" u- d [2 k3 l2 z
 Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing skills
% U5 f$ O# @& u1 X" T2 R( n Strong organizational and Program delivery skills# F* L# |8 w U7 P
