1 o' Z; E& t q' oEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.

0 N5 }4 e' ^% b. k“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published.

The slain woman, whose name has not been released, is the city’s 24th homicide victim of 2010.
