A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.

Edmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.3 M. l5 t: F0 a. j9 L% Q5 s
8 K8 P: H. a4 }- k0 L“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published.
