Shell Canada has confirmed to Mix News that a death has occurred at the Shell Albian Sands Jackpine oil sands mine 75 kilometres north of Fort McMurray.; D- t6 T6 h) S/ Z! _3 }5 e

Emergency crews responded to the scene at around 7:15 am, and the individual was transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre where they were pronounced dead.3 X$ k; u) I, a7 d* j3 d* @
