-        Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
# X$ q; l! y4 V3 N" h" v-        Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
9 N* w  l: j4 z, s-        Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
+ d% @6 U. e" k9 Z( T-        Sell merchandise to customers
) {, o0 Q8 h) g$ w-        Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
-        Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
/ n+ O3 S; R6 X$ K4 M5 g-        Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
# r3 G8 x' f4 f$ y2 ?# f* y-        Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff

5 f% ^3 B. l( W+ |+ X( R% u6 Y9 K-        Completion of secondary school is required
8 D5 }4 Q9 ]% g0 ~-        At least 1 year of retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk is required
. d* B6 s1 Q9 h# G  q-        Experience in the furniture sales would be an asset
-        Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
-        Ability to work rotational shifts including evenings and weekends
