The Engineers and Technologists Integration Program (ETIP) involves a

Alberta is home to many foreign-educated immigrant engineers. These( a# k; v' q0 k/ z
immigrants are highly educated and experienced, yet many may find it

Integrated training offers a blend of occupation-related skills, a work

What is the evidence of success?
F, o. W# ^7 m# }, \! S; NAs of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have
" N3 Q9 ?6 L* Y( N: i* Sfound engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.( b+ f+ l1 }. U* c* X
In 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of/ y |+ e" G( @2 F4 O
graduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,% r+ V$ ]/ ]5 C% n8 a1 J) L
with over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.8 @: ~- D* {, c- L& u
