夏天去美国开会，现在还没订机票找旅馆。有几个问题
1. specific travel plan：之前听朋友说应该填Yes，是这样吗？
6 Q& R# M9 H, w2 u1 r+ n2. Address where you will stay in the U.S.: 举办会议的酒店太贵(200usd/day起价)，在附近随便google一个便宜的旅馆填上，可行否？
3. Do you have any other relatives in the United States? 表弟在美国上学。这种情况应该填Yes吗？填yes或no有没有什么不好影响？
请各位帮忙回答下，谢谢了。

第3个，非直系亲属建议不要写了，免得节外生枝

实际上问题3是问的other relatives，它之前一个问题就是问你有没有直系亲属在美国。
问题3不写可以吗？

不写他们怎么知道？

如果1. specific travel plan填了Yes（也就是你要参加的那个会议），那么，2. Address where you will stay in the U.S.就应该填“举办会议的酒店”，贵不贵的没什么关系。
如果1. specific travel plan填了no，那么，2. Address where you will stay in the U.S.就可以随便填，甚至不填（或填N/A）。
问题3，同意翠花的建议。

Thanks for the reply message.
The case is the compared with the charge of the other hotel ($30/day), the expensive lodging charge of the original hotel($200/day) may make the visa officer doubt if I can support my days in US, although I think I have provided the bank certificates/statements containing sufficient funds. BTW, I have to put 'SELF' as the one supporting this trip.

2.  举办会议的酒店。目的只是在非常时期，可以找到你。如机上有传染病什么的。
2 c# ^" O) p! j/ K3.  是开会的也无伤大雅,旅游的就不要填,免得以为你会黑工留下来。
