Directions for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) is offering a study
group to assist Internationally Educated Nurses in preparing for the Canadian
: ?* H! L1 R# G4 [Registered Nurses Exam (CRNE).
3 W. O& I3 N7 v: _# J" L+ j( k+ y4 U
5 J  m1 p: ]  X. K8 qThe emphasis is on reviewing materials as outlined in the exam syllabus through a
+ L! O7 H1 N2 Iquestion and answer format. Participants will become familiar with the learning
material and develop test taking skills. The study group is co-facilitated by a Career
; W' p& f; M3 d# p% r; M/ @% w' rCoach and a professional in the field.
& m7 W2 C+ t6 r# e0 Q. X, h  H9 _
3 C8 T( m% N) sTo join the CRNE study group, participants are required to be deemed eligible by
College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) to write the
4 ^+ `5 K9 {3 d0 H( p  Z- s% n/ WOctober 5, 2011 exam. Individuals who are completing required coursework and are
# G3 d2 G* ^. h3 t! h$ J; r) eintending to write the CRNE, may be eligible to participate in this study group.
0 [6 i; {/ X* {Participants must ensure availability to meet study group attendance requirement.
Registration for eligible clients is based on a first come first served basis. Since spaces are
limited, early registration is strongly advised.
