Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
- B6 B4 D6 e( R+ a% k6 p# hplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
- L3 M* D0 K) }8 QMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

( q+ `! ]4 L! y; b2 ~To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.3 Y% x& ^4 g0 Z3 A% }
, J8 R& X# I% b: z4 dJob Qualification
' _+ K$ g7 _5 y& s e) |Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services! _$ L' L; } [/ v& P% d+ k
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s" D- D. B4 ~; }
School)7 I; M5 m- A& b- A1 B% ?
Must have supervisory experience: t. `0 @9 E. h
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system3 S. _9 p$ E; t2 ^) V
Must be computer literate# g- R+ |5 g0 R& O# `' `; Y) Y
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
; ]( e0 Z, r$ @7 gMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
" D$ X' ~# B2 w- W/ @2 C" U4 SMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
) S( V% n- p5 o" v( g3 @Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already7 T$ Q, A+ b' v1 w1 y- F' Q0 r% P
