Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team# f }8 k4 Y4 T8 ^: F1 R
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
& ^5 O- W: f, QMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
5 W4 r9 E7 s, j$ _5 W; H" d# K- Y7 D! U) B+ R: m
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.3 |3 j8 D. W" r9 z9 i5 F$ U" M
/ y1 Q" |' w! C2 s: ?8 f- lJob Qualification% k& W( v$ s1 Q |/ d+ b; i
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
: D" j2 {$ h' t9 jMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
w! a9 [* y+ Y" L% r* Y# gSchool). b8 Y" h4 l! Q5 Y! g
Must have supervisory experience
' `) ^, o& }% K2 e) e# H/ U) DMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
$ v, J) R4 K1 o5 K0 WMust be computer literate$ `. U$ v; a6 [8 O6 n
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
2 j! \. y- |7 }, z, M1 tMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* F7 A0 R9 W8 U( Q) u
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
5 s, X3 t! c3 PMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already' W4 j) E, X) j( }+ h+ d
establish team.
