can anybody recommend any good place to buy a used car?

buy privately is the best way, dealer will cosmetically make up the used car (which makes the car looks beautiful) and charge you few thousand dollars more than the car's worth. Well, if you are good at bargaining then you may still want to give dealer a try because they have more cars available on hands for sale.

By the way, "good price" is vary and it depends on individuals' value view.
