$ \1 C) W0 E% M3 n, U( q- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information2 Z* L9 P B! O5 O3 e0 Q9 F
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
# r1 U+ N1 |; R3 B# V- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP, K$ `1 v) V+ l
- provide support to ISP staff
0 \' M% n0 F7 X4 ]- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members. k( y- x. W4 j6 I9 j3 C# K4 ?7 q
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
0 R4 v; l0 D8 `3 ]& n- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated& i0 \5 }: g( N/ ~+ r( A) }: O
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants

- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder

- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities( `( T, G4 L- d" @5 [9 l! l' L

- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered" g9 q" q* n3 z: e* t
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
2 T* r# k7 t6 ~7 n' [- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers1 L- @/ @; {# d
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
3 |9 x: K# m& b( g7 O+ I5 Y- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)% ]8 w5 V9 Q* u7 s
- good interpersonal and people skills: \6 a; w7 X1 f& T$ X2 @% [; V
