请教CPP/EI Exemption是什么意思

大家好，我才到加拿大上班，税务方面一头雾水。

9 o9 g. K4 X. H9 x8 x8 L入职时小蜜给我一份CPT1表格填写。"Aplication to Canada Revenue Agency for CPP/EI Exemption". 请问这个表格是申请什么的？是申请不缴CPP/EI吗, 还是其他意思？

5 {% m8 r( x8 O8 q. ]表格里有这么一段话: ”XXX must make CPP and EI deductions from workers. However, if you interpret your income to be CPP/EI exempt, you must apply to CRA directly for a ruling on whether your employment is pensionable and/or insurable, or both”
“ruling”是什么意思啊？

特殊情况才能申请的，比如你是老板的直系亲属，或者你是公司股东啥的。你应该不符合。
